I'm a Computer Engineering student at the University of Waterloo with a passion for building robots that interact naturally with humans.
My work spans the full stack of robotics—from designing custom PCBs and 3D-printed mechanisms to implementing GPU-accelerated AI pipelines with LLMs and computer vision. I've built everything from gesture-controlled robot arms using AR glasses to expressive robot heads that can hold conversations.
When I'm not soldering or debugging ROS2 nodes, you'll find me competing at hackathons or tinkering with new sensor technologies.
Projects

bentOS is Kevin's personal portfolio, built as an interactive OS-themed surface rather than a static resume. Features include a boot splash gate, a procedural 3D cat in a Three.js viewer with LOD and FPS-aware perf, an infinite Matter.js-driven BentoGrid for /projects and /playground, a Gemini-backed chat assistant that only answers from grounded portfolio content, eight playable mini-games, and a long-form /scrollable view with a globe of life locations. Strict TypeScript, Tailwind CSS variables for theming, Vitest + Playwright tests, Lighthouse CI, and bundle-size budgets enforced on every PR. Content (projects, photos, talking points) is file-based JSON and rebuilt automatically by an update-portfolio agent skill.
